Brought an old desktop out of the attic this afternoon and resurrected AoE 2. My boys loved it.

Technically its an ascii game ant text based like Zork.

Came across this while picking up a new router. Pretty sweet if you still have NES, SNES and Genesis cartridges still lying around.

I'll be picking one of these up soon
If you have an old computer laying around (or if not just do an install on a usb stick) look into installing Lakka . I have a zip file with every Atari 2600 game I can send you (or any other if the brethren here who would want it)

Does this do anything for the resolution of the old games?

My wife and I hooked one of our SNES consoles up to the TV in our TV room... a 52 inch flatscreen. The result was tough to look at. I've got the itch to go through a game of Earthbound again, but I can't do it looking at the current setup. I should probably use the 32 inch TV in the basement for this, but it's in a workout room; not the best for gaming.

As for the thread title: COD WWII

A friend of mine had an emulator and we were playing old sega and Nintendo games on it. Other than that I play Mortal Kombat on my phone sometimes.

It upscales the graphics to 720p HD and has an hdmi output
