Yeah, he did occasionally and so did Potter (addressing the camp about some nonsense or other), but I remember seeing episodes when I was young and Radar would be standing there with other characters in the Swamp or mess and an announcement would be heard. Bothered me for years.

1972 here. Does anyone remember a very short lived show called "Manimal"? It came one right after Airwolf.

I also watched a rerun of ALF the other night along with WKRP in Cincinnati.

This also seems like a good time to post the greatest photo ever...

I totally remember Manimal. I wish I didn't, but I do. I also remember some show about Lee Van Cleef playing a ninja who was instructing this kid or something. I also remember Lucan. I don't think it lasted long, but it was wicked cool.

If you remember Lucan you are my best friend.

I am sorry, Lucan was just hair before my time. I do remember the Lee Van Cleef show, it was called The Master. I will have to settle for being a 2nd or 3rd tier pal.

John, our horror tastes are too similar to let you be 2nd or 3rd tier. You're top shelf to me, bro. C'mere, let's hug it out.

I remember watching The Master one night and then at dinner announcing the following to my parents:

Me: "I think I want to be a ninja."

Dad: "I think I want you to finish your dinner."

And thus ended my short career as a ninja.

Actually most of the announcements were not by Radar but by some unnamed/unseen character (played by actor Sal Viscuso).
Bit of young one here, '74.

There is one episode in which Klinger is trying to replace a stolen generator and curses in arabic is one of my faves.

Manimal was great (all four episodes of it, don't think it lasted longer). I had read that the transformation f/x were done in real time, a first for television.

I liked Blue Thunder better than Airwolf for a show that featured souped up helicopters. Though it had the most mismatched cast (Dick Butkis, Dana Carvey, Bubba Smith, James Farentino)

LOL That's awesome.

I am amazed no one has mentioned The Fall Guy with Lee Majors and the bootylicious Heather Thomas.

Heather Thomas made being a 12 year old boy in 1984 very special.

Classic theme song, classic gratuitous bikini scenes. Special, indeed.

Indeed I do. Saw that when it first aired. That was actually Mork's television premiere. My recollection is that Mork & Mindy was a spin-off based on the success of that Happy Days appearance.

I believe you are right sir. I however did not catch it when it first aired.

I had no idea that ever happened.
