Or the one Laverne and Shirley were dating the Fonz. Though whatever happened to Chuck, the older brother?

For our younger members, Saved By the Bell.

I realized I was getting older when I heard "Welcome to the Jungle" on our classic rock station.

My mom wouldn't let me watch Laverne and Shirley, she was afraid i would grow up to be "unlady like" like them....

I made up for it when she wasn't home tho... :whistling:

How about the Electric Company?

The cast was excellent and the skits quite well thought out. I enjoy watching these videos on YouTube with my kids.

Ok here are two very obscure ones that I may be the only one to remember them.

Does anyone remember Spectreman?

Image

And an even more obscure one. In the Chicagoland area on channel 32 on UHF they used to have a childrens show called Gigglesnort Hotel. It was a very bizarre kids show involving some somewhat disturbing looking muppet style puppets. My brother and I loved that show!

Image

Gigglesnort Hotel was a spinoff of another kid's show made by the same guy titled BJ and the Dirty Dragon. (No, I am not kidding about that)

Lushmojo, if you tell me you grew up around Chicago and remember Gigglesnort I am going to get wierded out :)

Tom Baker rules! I remember Friday and/or Saturday Winter evenings in my teenage years when you could always find Dr. Who on PBS. My father would have his newspaper up to his face and ask me to put on the news. I'd refuse of course and continue to watch The Doctor. Very slowly, as the plot thickened, his paper would fall lower, and lower, until it finally rested in his lap and his jaw would relax and open into a position that said "This is amazing!" and for the next hour or so, though he'd never admit it, he was a Dr. Who fan.
