I think if you change yor user name you have to do a whole new identity change and your threads and post history will start all over. Can't have that now, can we  (I did it on another forum and that is what happened).

Let me guess, you were ArmenianGScott, only to realize that you had made a dreadful misspelling? :P

I was able to change a username using admin functions... I still think this is a great opportunity for a contest.

I did it from the "edit users" page. If it doesn't work for you let me know.

Sure... of course the edit users page. Where else would it be?

How do you get there?

Won't that just degrade into name-calling and pointing out mutual short-comings and weaknesses? Or would it be more interesting, like Good Kirk- Evil Kirk? Or Good McCoy-Evil McCoy? (Damn it, Jim! I'm a doctor, not a theologian!)

i suspect it would more likely turn into a downward spiral of mutual admiration ...

Three questions:
1) Wouldn't you quickly run out of things to talk about? <zing>
2) Would you flip the avatar so each could stare longingly into the other's eye when question 1 came to full fruition?
3) Forgot to ask (a long time ago) - has Olathe grown to the point that it's no longer cool for the high schoolers to "cruise the Fe" on Saturday night? (Reminder: graduated OHS when there was only one <hehe>).

When one keeps the different sections of his mind as neatly separated as do I, internal conversations never lack for new material. We're always finding out nifty new things about ourselves ... myselves?

There are plenty of things that CAN be done in Photoshop, but I've pledged to only use my powers for good.

I'm pleased to say that I've retired to an age where I haven't the foggiest, and no longer care to keep up with what high schoolers think is cool. Though, there for a while there was a "gang" of rich kids on Japanese bikes that would zip from one end to the other, but now that East and Northwest have opened up, I think all that's left on our side of town are the rednecks in their pickup trucks.
