Amphora Virginia in an Upshall bulldog. Good stuff, and I won't even add "for the price."

PS: About halfway through the bowl, I find myself mostly agreeing with other reviewers: it compares quite favorably with OGS. I find it better than my recollection of OGS and reminiscent of HH Pure Virginia. Most called it a broken flake; to my mind, it's nearly a ready-rubbed. Fine with me,_I rub out all my flakes anyway. Most, IIRC, said it ndeded drying. I did not find this the case. Certainly a fine straight Virginia. Next time it goes on sale, I'm buying a bunch.

Amphora Virginia in a Peterson B5. Let me reiterate: this is pretty good tobacco. Don't be fooled by the fact it comes in a pouch. As a matter of fact, it's even better in this pipe than it was in the Upshall. I swear I'm tasting lemon.

Cabbie's Mixture in the Bones lovat.
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.

Its good. I do like it a good bit. But for my personal tastes, the new Amphora Burley is where it's at hands down. I don't think I like the double pressed as much as ODF personally, but I do enjoy the Amphora a great deal.
