Working from home has its advantages. Just finished a pipe of Gatsby Flake and now starting one of Squadron in the Addis dublin.

C&D Billy Budd Blonde in a Stanwell 11.
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.

Enjoyed several bowls this evening with Bloodhound, with a cold front blowing in, until I just could no longer endure the cold wind with this thin shirt I'm wearing. I forgot my jacket so I'll just layer up tomorrow and do the best I can.
Anyway I smoked samples of Dunhill Ready Rubbed, Frenchy's, and Blockade Runner. Pipes included a Larsen billiard and Comoy Zulu.
Great visit, good smoke, and a good crisp Laughing Lab beer.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)
