Last Night, I thought hey I'm going to smoke some John Cotton Double Pressed Dark fired Kentucky that I got from my Secret Santa...I loaded a pipe and headed to the patio...opened the door and was hit with ice crystals...I looked at the temp 9 degrees...so I shut the door and decided to smoke another time...yup I am a wimp.

That will let me get out on the patio. I am limiting it to once a week...Sunday nights seem to work well...just not last night :)

Two Friends Redwood, compliments of the Tobacco Fairy.

The stoved Virginias are in the background, with the plain red predominating. There is a touch of sweetness, mostly from the cavendish, and no tanginess from the Virginias. There is quite a bit of perique, more than the "pinch" described on the label, though it is not unpleasant. This is a good tobacco if you like Va-pers.
There are many terrible attributes of the lowly cob. Not the least of them is that it makes you look like a doof.
