Father Dempsey, from a tin dated 3/26/18, in a 2010 POY. This tastes very much like McC Old Dog to me; almost exactly in fact. Even the same re-light requirements.

So which one are you digging more, the Grant or the Dempsey?

I like both, in their own right. Dempsey smokes a little cooler; a better longer smoke, and reminds me of the now-extinct McCl Old Dog.

Earlier this afternoon Parson’s Blend, now White Rose. I should have listened to ryland and skipped the Parson’s Blend and ordered twice as much White Rose, it is just terrific.

I've found this a solid blend for former cigarette smokers who still smoke fairly regularly; I definitely prefer the natural blend, though I accidentally bought turkish from my online retailer - we'll see how it faires:

I haven't yet accustomed to the more 'refined' blends that the other gentlemen here have, but I still enjoy a good smoke.
