I haven't had much snuff the last few months (running really low and haven't put in a replenishment order!). Found an unopened tin of Gawith Cola in my desk drawer the other day, and I took a nice big pinch.

Maaaaan, the menthol gets to me! I have to get some more WoS Sandalwood, Tom Buck, Best Dark, and SPs on hand, stat!
Please pardon any typos...I probably typed this message one-handed while holding a baby.

I don't understand whether the menthol getting to you is a good thing or a bad thing. If it's a bad thing, try Samuel Gawith Cola as it's not mentholated. It's my favorite.

Never without this, or Fribourg & Treyer's High Dry Toast in my pocket. Imbibed rather heavily for years, but then developed a sensitivity to it that all but shut down my usage. These two are OK, but all my other favourites of Bernard's, Pöschl, etc. are too much for me now. Probably for the best...

ZOMBIE THREAD ALERT

I thought I'd post here...haven't been on CPS much lately. I'm currently slogging through student papers. I'm also enjoying some pinches of F&T High Dry Toast. It's the only snuff I have left that's somewhat fresh aside from Toque Xmas Pudding, which is a bit sweet for me.

Bonus points for taking snuff while grading an argumentative essay about why tobacco should be completely banned?

Never saw this; menthol is not, in fact, my preference. I like the flavor of the Gawith Cola, but the menthol means I can barely handle a pinch. I can see why a lot of people like mentholated snuffs, but they just disagree with my sinuses. I've tended to gravitate towards earthier flavors. If I had to narrow it down to a couple snuffs, I'd probably stick with WoS Sandalwood and...uh...something else. I really like F&T HDT, but I think I'd have to go with WoS Grand Cairo or a solid, plain-ish SP to accompany my Sandalwood.

Man, I need to put in another order. I've been nursing my supply for an embarrassingly long time now.

Ah, yes, Dholakia. Not a snuff for the uninitiated as I recall, but good stuff. Have to revisit them.

Swiss chocolate is very accessible. I'm fearful of the White.

I've been trying to use more snuff.

Lately, I've been working on some of my favorite mixture:

1 part Wilsons of Sharrow Royal George (sweet and complex, but powerfully scented)
4 parts American Peach (light & sweet, unscented)

The result is Royal George, toned down to a tolerable level.

I find myself on a nuke working 7 days a week with an almost complete list of tobacco banned from the site. I've always dreaded this. No cigs, pipes, cigars, e cigs or chewing tobacco. They left out nasal snuff because they don't know what it is. Im working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day and sometimes more so I'm going to try nasal snuff.

Problem is. Where can I get it? I've been using Honey Bee from Swisher which I purchased in AR. No place in NE sells nasal snuff and when ask they look at me like a mule staring at a new gate.

What kind should I order, when I do find a place? Is Sam Gaw pretty OK?

Thanks in advance for any answers/

The last place I bought some was one of those grimy little local grocery stores that only sells one type of chocolate chip cookie but keeps a stock of ten Grabows left over from the 1950s. I liked it, but it burned my nose and didn't give me much of a buzz, so I tossed what seemed like a large can of it (it was only an ounce or so, but you only use a half of a gram at a time) after it sat on the shelf for a year.

Mr. Snuff is a common merchant. I've never had a problem with their service.

I like the sound of your treason!

Mr. Snuff is the place to go.

If you don't know whether you'll like snuff or not, try some of those 5g tins from Ozona. The tin is also a snuff box dispenser (just dial the top until the holes line up).

A few 5g- and 10g-tins is plenty to start with. A little bit goes a long way.
