I even took in a chapters of Screwtape while enjoyin my first ever bowl of NightCap...what a treat. Good stuff. I was real tempted to snatch a couple of those unopened tins of 965 & Escudo but the only thing I had to replace it with was a couple unopened cans of Chicken of the Sea Tuna... 8). Maybe next time.

Thanks John. :D

John, is it against the rules to open a sealed tin and sample from it? Or, are those just for swapping?

Those are just for swapping. Somebody might want to grab a sealed tin for their "cellar" - opening it takes that away.

Billybob - what do you think of that "Royal Estate Espresso"? Just tried that for the first time recently. I hadn't had coffee flavored tobacco before. I kinda liked it - wouldn't smoke it everyday, but it was pretty good for a change of pace.

John-Boy,

My every day smoke is Rum and Maple (for some reason, I love that stuff), but I have been enjoying some of the stuff I put in from Walgreen (Burley & Black and Toasted Cav). I also use Walgreen's Burley Light but found it to be the same thing as your TB Burley Light. I tried a bowl of Royal Estate and fell in love with it. So I plan to add it to my daily routine. Is this a normal blend found at TB or was it specially made?

Will surely try it again when your sample is used up.

By the way, to all in the box pass. I have dried the Rum and Maple alittle. I found it better that way. It should be ready to go. R & M can burn the dickens outta your tongue if it is wet and you puff to fast. I did not get a chance to work on the other samples from Walgreens I put in the box. If you try a bowl from those samples, allowing them to dry alittle increases your pipe enjoyment. IMHO.

It's a new blend (I think) at Tinder Box. Check out the Tinder Box web site for a description.

I can't wait for this box to work its way to me. I hope you guys add some really good stuff to this pass. I need the exposure to good quality tobacco. I have only bought the walgreens bags of tobacco, because I am primarly a cigar smoker, but the pipe is working its way into themix more and more it seems.

It looks like the timing may work out perfectly. The box should arrive this week I would think. (just as my wife is out of town). I will keep you all posted when it arrives.

That's right, it was sitting on the front step when I arrived home from work last night.

I will sample it some more and get it off on friday as I will not be able to make it to the post office in Sat.

Houston, we may have a problem....

I forgot about my schedule. I didn't even think about where I fell into the boxpass linup until today. I'm only here until the 10th and then I'm gone for 3 weeks. I don't think anyone on the list wants to take that long. The only solutions I can figure is to bump me up on the list or take me off of it. I'll let y'all decide which is easiest. Or, of course, the box can sit at my house for a couple weeks :? probably not what we're after.

Sorry about the trouble. Blessings all, Tony

Look at this guys... the guys the site admin so he thinks he can cut in line... :P

Bumping up to next doesn't effect me. Does that work for everybody?

That would change the order to:

Tony - Amarillo, TX
Sportybird - Crooks, SD
Charles - Burlington, Colorado
Tyler - Midland, TX
SirBax - Palm Harbor, FL
Coffeenut - Stafford, VA
John-Boy - Adamstown, MD

Todd - it's up to you to make sure it goes the right place!
