Post by John-Boy » Tue Dec 19, 2006 9:58 am

A few pictures showed up in the tobacco storage thread of some cellars/stashes. Post more here.

Well, OK: Here's mine. The top shelves are all English/Balkan tins, boxed by producer/year. The middle shelves are all vacuum-packed bulks. And the bottom shelves are just boxes of loose, unbagged drugstore cherry blends, in case PnP ever drops by...
Here's a picture - I've cleaned it up after looking at the mess in the picture.

I have a baggie of 1/3 lb of 1-Q. Does that count?

Here is a picture of my current cellar. Not much to it, but I'm hoping to make it grow as quickly as possible.

So here is where all my regulars are at. I've got some empty tins and samples in baggies, and the like, on top of this chest of drawers. I recently obtained some more mason jars, and therefore, should soon be storing more tobacco in this drawer.

Also, this drawer contains all of my crappy clothes that I no longer wear, and some scrap tartan that belonged to a friend of my grandmothers, and, therefore, has no association to my own ancestry. I'm not sure which clan it is, but I am associated with the MacDonald clan. Just to clarify.

On top are my pipes. The top shelf is open tins I moved into mason jars. The middle shelf has closed tins for aging. I've got more bulk aging underneath the drawer.

Just a big, 300 gallon vat of Frog Morton, right?

Steverino, ryland,

Those storage areas are a bit too neat, don't you think?

And ryland, a man who keeps his tobacco so organized in a white cabinet is calling Lewis a nancy boy?

In my defense, I did have several tins strowed across the washer, and I wrote the labels on the jars in somewhat of a scrawl.

Okay, while this isn't an actual picture of my cellar, if you ignore the shoes and just kinda squint at the box, and imagine three of them stacked on top of each other, you get the idea:

Doesn't it get very expensive, having to buy a new pair of shoes every time you fill up a box?
