Under a wee bit more stress than usual these days....

Post by Hovannes » Thu Jul 07, 2016 8:16 am

...and it got me thinking how doggone nice it is to take a respite from the day's concerns with a good briar and some tobacco. Simple pleasures are indeed often the best. It even has me hankering to stuff some cherry aro into the ol' firebox.
I find my self being grateful that I took up the pipe and while pipe smoking can be as complex as any other hobby, there is a simplicity that I find calming in the quiet times spent with an old and faithful pipe.

I do miss some quiet time with a nice bowl going. Had some great prayer times during a smoke

This, gentlemen, is what it feels like when doves cry.
Even though I can't smoke at this time, for some reason I like this place.

Brother, when you buy your house, make sure you have a garage. Spend 99 bucks on a patio heater, too. Children are wonderful, but Papa’s need an escape plan sometimes.
