I've ordered some elastic cord that I think will work well for a closure. Should be in by the 14th or so and then I will have some of these ready to go. My favorite fabric store, Hancocks, closed down while I was in PNG. Big ole bummer.

Hobby Lobby has 1 mm stuff in the sewing section. I have used it for Midori Traveler's Notebook knockoffs.

I found some faux ostrich material today. I'm loving the look and feel, but it's a pain to sew on my little machine. Looking forward to my elastic cord coming in so I can finish these up. I think one of these ostrich fabric ones will be replacing my old one.
