Gross.

The sad thing is you can tell there was some effort put into making that pipe. Look at the finish. Is it a Wallenstein?

It's a Huge Stone Studio pipe, Cleon, a Chinese artisan pipe cooperative.

I never have liked natural plateau rims. They look like the carver got lazy to me. Plus, when they fan out and flop over they look like a mollusk of sorts.

Just think. That could have been a nice lovat.

Okay. I've seen some of their stuff on ebay. Nice stuff too. At least they looked nice. I have no idea how they are engineered. A while back I was bidding on some of their bamboo stemmed billiards. I thought, since it was from China, I'd score one for about 10 bucks. Never happened.

I got one of their bamboo stemmed pipes a while back for $30. I smoked it once and gave it away to a new pipe smoker. It was a nice pipe; however, their stems are atrocious, or at least the one I had was. It's not acrylic, it's not ebonite or anything of the like; it really just felt like cheap plastic.

I don't hate it. It's like a reversed bulldog.
