Hanged out at a cigar/pipe shop today

Post by Hovannes » Tue Jan 15, 2019 10:40 pm

I smoked a bowl of California Dreaming while walking to the PO to mail in the property tax, and since it was raining I ducked into the B&M located a few doors down to finish the bowl, then sampled a cherry aro in the company of three other pipers.
It was pleasant enough discussing real estate, foot ball, the government shutdown and car problems.
I bought a bundle of pipe cleaners as I have plenty of tobacco open right now.
They did have a tin of GL Pease Samarra I may have to return for. :pipe3:

Sounds like you made the best of a depressingly large payment to the government that you will probably never see a return on!

Amen.
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.
