On Christmas Day, I enjoyed some well aged McClelland Christmas Cheer from 2009 (thanks to Goose55!). The Christmas Cheer was a sight - after popping the well-expanded tin, I noticed just how nicely the flakes had aged, drawn in and taught from almost a decade under seal and glistening with sugary crystals.

About the 2009 Christmas Cheer Crop:

Handblended, premium pressed Virginia flake tobaccos. A fine vintage, naturally sweet, in limited quantity. This 2009 blend is made with a special selection of beautiful, sugary, deep orange South Carolina Border Belt flue-cured Virginia from the 2003 crop.

Had half a bowl of Back Down South in a Pete meer while running around a RC dirt race track flipping over my son's truck as he crashed it. It was his first track time with the new short track truck we got him for Christmas.

I started the evening with a bowl of C&D's 2012 Christmas Blend, Chestnuts Roasting, in a paneled Aldo Velani quarter bend.
Next bowl was Shenandoah Berry Blend in my natural rusticated Squirrel Grabow.

There wasn't enough Berry Blend to smoke another bowl, so I added it to my growing tin of dump mixture and gave it all a good shake. I let the Missus smell it and she informed me it had developed a tin note of, "a little sweet, a little dank, but pretty good."

Last bowl of the evening was a bowl of my own dump mixture in a Peterson Canadian. Hands down the best smoke of the evening.

Sometimes I wish I had all the data of my dump mix...it can be a very good smoke...The last time my dump mix was very good, I jarred it and kept it to smoke and started a new dump mix
