Nope...being a newb is not to blame. I didn't put in enough details. The pipe in the hat trade is something on the Pipe Makers Forum. Any pipe maker that wants to take part can...be it their first pipe or 1,000th. It's a really great learning experience as a random list is generated and each maker sends his/her pipe to someone else, thus everyone gets a pipe. Then valuable critique is provided.

Just had a burger with Stevorino and he gifted me a Grabow similar to this one.

Currently smoking Carter Hall in it as I type.

Something I forgot to tell you, and you may have already figured it out - I remember the one pipe had a "stinger" in it (in the Grabow world they're called "cleaners") and I don't remember if the other one did or not. Unlike the Kaywoodie stingers, the Grabow cleaners can simply be pulled out if you don't want them in there. All but the purists usually pull them out. Hope you'll enjoy them!
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7 ESV

So many pipes. So little time.
Oh, those last two are giving me pipe lust real bad.
