I thought this was going to be about fish.

I’m pleasantly surprised that it isn’t.

Hello FredS
That took me a minute. Koi.
Thank you. I’ll be here all week. Try the veal and be sure to tip your waitress.

People are customizing cobs out the wazoo these days, with all kinds of options, the thought occurred to me, while the POY thread is busy getting relegated to the youth room, I wonder if it’s time for the Cobunist Party to put forth another offering. So what say you? If you aren’t a cob smoker, keep your B.R.A.T.A.S.S.es out of it ;) but if you do smoke cobs, would you be interested in a custom engraved CPS one?

My impression on the "youth room" for POY was that it was started Jan 9th (like super early in 2019-- too early to be taken seriously). But that doesn't mean there isn't an interest in POY.
Yea I said that in jest.

I say you and me make a road trip to moonshine pipes and find the "lost" official CPS Pipe Fish Stamp.

Come on, bro. Don't leave me hanging.

Moonshine Pipes no longer exists as is was, the person who had it no longer has a pipe shop at all, and he sold the company to Briarworks. So the stamp is gone if he was the last guy who had it...

Interest Check in a COY 2019

Post by JohnnyMcPiperson » Mon Jan 21, 2019 8:40 pm

Well the minimum order to get MM to engrave cobs for us is 100 pipes... so that’s probably not going to happen... I’ll have to keep working on a plan B.

Thinking about doing it myself...
Anybody ever use one of these?

I should probably tell you I have zero interest in a hipster cob. In one of nature’s great paradoxes, it cheapens the experience to smoke expensive corn. Nothing artisinal, please.

My first, last, and only previous cob as a good experiment but the stem wiggled out of the cob way too quickly. I agree exactly with your sentiment. Also, the COY should have some sturdy build to it if it is to be used (vs. mounted as a some sort of historic preservation item).

You want a forever stem? Go ahead and buy one, if you cannot resist the urge to remove the stem from the shank of a cob.. Me, I’m not spending more than 15 bucks on this thing, and that’s just because Fred won’t. To put it in perspective, that’s about three times what I usually spend.
