I should probably tell you I have zero interest in a hipster cob. In one of nature’s great paradoxes, it cheapens the experience to smoke expensive corn. Nothing artisinal, please.
:P
My first, last, and only previous cob as a good experiment but the stem wiggled out of the cob way too quickly. I agree exactly with your sentiment. Also, the COY should have some sturdy build to it if it is to be used (vs. mounted as a some sort of historic preservation item).
You want a forever stem? Go ahead and buy one, if you cannot resist the urge to remove the stem from the shank of a cob.. Me, I’m not spending more than 15 bucks on this thing, and that’s just because Fred won’t. To put it in perspective, that’s about three times what I usually spend.
I'm in agreement with you-- except my budget may a tad higher-- call it 20-25-- that stamping/heat iron takes some time and effort ;)

I have great respect for you, and am slightly shamed by my cheapness. I’ll do 25 if you think it is fair.
I am also of the opinion that the Jesuits should be suppressed.

I was kinda thinking of just getting a bunch of these and engraving them...

They are sturdy and smoke better than many of my briars...

+1

It's a cob. It doesn't need fancy-schmancy laser engraving.

That one looks very nice. Looks like they were out of stock-- when might they have more in stock?
