It's colored up nicely in the year I've had it. This is what it looked like new:

I had one once made out of lemon wood, I think. Foolishly sold it years ago. The man is a fine maker and deserves more respect than he gets.

I have one, made for hardenkool (leadwood) not briar.

The first picture was before it had ever been smoked. It is my work horse pipe, one I always have with me and I can smoke anything in.

I've heard microwaved tobacco gets better if you wrap it in foil before you heat it up. - ryland

These are from earlier in his pipe making career, 2010-2012 I believe.

I wish I could get a better photo of this one. It is beautiful with a gentle blast on the bottom half and smooth above.

I don't know if he still drills the bit this way, but they smoke very well.
