It looks like a well made pipe. Nice rustication. I'm a sucker for a straight billiard anyway. Don't get hung up on the maker. If it's already yours just enjoy it and let us know how it performs. If not, and you like the looks of it then go for it.

Are you able to post a photo of the stem and button? I suspect those aren't your photos.

I still have come up with nothing on him. It may be this is one of few pipes an artisan ever made. Nothing on Pipephil or Pipedia

Thanks, Cleon. Here is a pic of the stem and button. No logo on the stem.

If it is styled like a typical monogram, his initials would be MPJ. Maybe try that order in your searches.

Or MJP could be Michael Jacobson Pipes

Pipedia only has: (Redirected from Michael Jacobson-Hardy)

"Pipemaker in Bennington, New Hampshire.

Please add further information!"

There are no pictures of pipes or logo(s)

Sounds like a pipe made by or for someone with the initials "MJP" or "MPJ"

Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your failures. I know it makes me feel better about myself. Can’t say for no one else, of course.
