I just scored two Peterson pipes for $15 each! That’s officially the best find I’ve ever had at an antique shop.

I purchased an unfinished pipe with three fatal flaws in it. It was $15 at the Pipe Show. I spent about 20 minutes on the stem, to get rid of the sharp edges. Each time I smoke it, I spend some time on it with sand paper. It will never be beautiful. But I enjoy having a beater pipe in the garage. I have wanted to see how an unfinished pipe slowly changes color.

It would be cool it you took a photo of it every month just to document the change too.

Bruyere St. Claude Billiard. SP said it was about a group one size. Just smoked some 1Q in it and it was heavenly. Might have been the best smoke I've ever had and it was $35 new.

A good smoke in a cheap pipe is its own kind of sweet, huh.

A behemoth estate Ser Jacopo Maxima Maxima. 3 - 1/2 inches tall with a 1 inch diameter chamber. And vertical grain. Birds-eye covers the rim

My latest pipe purchase is on its way to me. It's the coolio '18 POY.

The inaugural bowl has been on my mind. Carter Hall? A finely aged VA flake?

English is right out. I mean. It's just rude to break in a Canadian with an English blend.

Just make sure it's a blend that is polite and properly recieved in all crowds.

I'll go ahead and apologize now. I've already deemed this poy as my FMotT/FMAtP pipe. If Redhead Decoy was still around, it would be included as well.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)
