If someone is looking to get a humidor instead of Tupperware or cooler.

Would you recommend using a travel humidor as an everyday at home humidor?

Sure the things you want to consider are:

1. Does it seal

2. Do you have humidification for it

3. It doesn’t have a smell that would infused into the cigars

4. If you are planning on aging cigars you might want something bigger

If you want to be fancy you can put one or two of these in it.

Spanish Cedar Cigar Tray, Adjustable Divider, Fits Large Humidors, Made with Solid Spanish Cedar, by Quality Importers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B9234HE/re ... CBbHGP39FY

I have one of the Freeman 40-ct Humidor - Mahogany $26.99 models, and I am very pleased with it.

I can buy cigars by the box when they are on sale, and have them on hand to enjoy and share whenever. Paid for itself in no time.

By a strange inversion, Pipeson has decided that he enjoys more cigars. He helps himself whenever he is home to visit, and buys a box from time to time. That's a lot of good smokes and conversations for not very much money....

I'm just saying that a small humidor is a good investment for any smoker to consider.

I may have to try this. This is probably a stupid question. Would it throw off the temp or humidity if you paint it?

I doubt it. It's airtight and from what I've read you need to open it up every couple of weeks or so to allow the natural gasses to be released. I guess that happens naturally in a humidor since they aren't airtight. Just don't paint the inside!

The real question is what color would you paint it?

10 cigars for $15

https://www.holts.com/promo/10-cigar-su ... er-sampler

I have had 4 of these and I enjoyed them. The others I’ve heard of and people rate them pretty highly.

Looks like a good deal for the price.

This is an even better deal than that $9.95 Five Oliva free shipping sampler you told us about a couple months ago. So, I went ahead and got it. Thank you!
