Thanks. This one's not finished, yet. Now I have to wait for the layers to dry so I can do some color glazing. I'm taking progress pics for my painting blog.
Can you PM me, or post, the address to your painting blog?

'deed it is. Rocky Mountain Nat'l park near Estes Park. Went hiking out there a couple of years ago. That place is one of the most incredibly beautiful spots on earth. A painting around every corner, but we were only there briefly...

God speaks in nature, but He sings in the Rockies.

Okay, I know this is neither drinking nor smoking art... but I though this crowd would appreciate it, anyhow. This was inspired by a genuine local food place called the Suzy-Q drive-in. This is - er, was (*buuurp*) - a double cheeseburger basket, to go. This little hole-in-the-wall take-out place has been in business for half a century.

This is part of a new series inspired by local foods, and will be in an upcoming exhibit to benefit a local charity.

Okay, this too is neither smoking nor drinking art, but I just sold it, so I'm kinda jazzed about that. It's always great to have people respond to your work to the point where they will part with some hard-earned cash just to have it hang on their wall.

These are some scouts at one of the summer camps at Camp Orr on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. The boy climbing out on the rock is at West Point right now.

That last one is great. Awesome execution of the beer lace.

That IS the tricky part, and so few appreciate it.
