Slide Belts

Post by Pepik » Mon Jan 25, 2016 2:30 pm

I think this is an appropriate location for this thread, seeing as it's for a Vendor. I don't normally espouse anything about any vendor - normally. Here's an exception, and I have nary an idea why I like it as much as I do, but ... https://www.slidebelts.com/collections/mens

Since I've been losing the pounds, having to drill new holes into my belt was becoming tedious and wasteful, requiring a new belt every so often. Switching to this saves plenty as now I can remove the end that connects to the buckle end (teeth/friction lock) and trim it to length as needed. Good stuff and for folks that need it - a quick release on the belt itself. I'd imagine a few of you might find it needful.

Just sayin - but not for why or what.
Rgrds,
Joe

My mom used to buy something like this for me when I was a growing boy. I remember the satisfaction of undoing the clamp and INCREASING my belt size.
===================
I've lost about 3 inches off my waist in the last 6 months, so I can identify. I'm on the next-to-last hole in my favorite everyday belt. My biggest problem with comfort is my old pants puckering at the waist.

But a hell of a lot better quality. How many were gunmetal grey with Full grain leather? Might be a bit costy - but the quality and utility are too good to pass up IMHO.

Having trouble with your waist size and belts? Suspenders kill two birds with one stone, and you won't need to throw them out because you can't outgrow them.

"Better quality"? Did you just say, "Better quality"?

The US Army bids go to the lowest bidder. How dare you insinuate, sir, by methods of insulating coffee cups by means of styrofoam, that the quality of material we issue to our young brave men and women in arms be doinked by your ... your ... what in the hell was I on about anyway?

PM me if you can set it right. I'd love to come back here and rip some ass!
