Box pressed cigars

Post by bilder » Sun Nov 15, 2015 11:18 pm

Who loves them as much as I do?

Something about a good box press that makes my whole smoking experience so much better.

Enjoyed a Rocky Patel the other night and am wishing I had bought more. Was a perfect box pressed experience.

Mr. Patel puts out some nice sticks, that's for true.

I've a fondness for Sancho Panzas---a very tasty box pressed my FIL introduced me to. I also enjoy Maria Mancinis. Sancho and Maria are a delightful couple :D

I've tried a few, but get frustrated because most burned unevenly (severely). I do like the way they feel in my hand, though.

Sanchos are among my favorites. Great smoke and a decent price.

First ever non-Cuban Box pressed is the Padron 1964 Anniversary series - and that is one very tasty stick. Highly rated by Cigar Aficionado.

The Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Prensado MM is tasty.

A friend at church gave me one of those last summer. An excellent cigar that one.

Shh. Now that Excaliburs are unfashionable, I can purchase them at really good prices around here.

I too love box-pressed cigars, but something tells me that the box didn't press them:).
