Ordered some budget cigars---John Bull, Chillin Moose, and hoping my wife doesn't kill me.

Arturo Fuente Curly Head - the draw was horrible.

(I almost said that the draw sucked, but figured it might be confusing and might elicit some groans, although I didn't notice the pun until after I started typing it.)
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Too loose?

I bought two local cigars as a gag gift today.

Too tight. I had to work at it. I tried squeezing and rolling to break things up and just couldn't get it to lighten up. I even stuck the awl from my Czech tool in the end to see if I could create a channel for the airflow. Nothing worked. Later I followed up with a Cuban Rounds Maduro just to be able to relax with a cigar. That one was fine.

Catch Twenty Two - not bad except that it was coming unwrapped despite a good cut.

I am smoking a Victor Sinclair Primeros I got recently on special for 20 of them on CI. I am really impressed. Mild start, slightly sweet and gets a bit spicier as you smoke. Well worth the $1.50 each! Worth a try if you like mild cigars.

Smoked a Big Easy last night around the fire at the lake. Had a glass of Glenlivet as well. I'm not a big scotch guy, but I'm learning.

I had a comically large Punch Rare Corojo, El Doble, at Edward's Pipe & Tobacco Shop with Bloodhound as a send off for a good friend who is headed overseas for work. They made fun of me for my Pringles can of a cigar, but guess whose smoke lasted all the way from 4:30 to closing time?
