I had this stuff back in 2012 and very much enjoyed it then, it tastes different than I remember, but still it’s good.

Yes. This. The cut is different too. No longer neato stalks of moist crumble cake.

I still like it a lot but, it has changed quite a bit.
Never thought we’d be sitting here talking about the drop of quality at C&D of all places... sign of the times I guess. I think Craig was probably the stickler for consistency, he ran the company with passion, seems like whomever has taken the reigns is starting to cut some corners.

It's probably the same issue McClelland was having: lack of quality leaf.
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose?" Philippians 1:21-22

Could be, but why change the cut...

Why go to the trouble for less quality? I'm just spitballin' here.

Back to English Chocolate, I feel like it just doesn’t have as much topping or Latakia as I remember... it was a bit sweeter and smoother when I had it years ago, but I still like it, may try a parfait with a bit of cavendish...

Agree. The Original was far superior. However, what we have now is a pretty good english. I think we should forgive them .

Yet. The original tin presentation v. what we have now? Tough call.
