That pipe is beautiful.

That blend was developed with Milan by a man named Bob Berglund. He was a regular on the now defunct My Pipes Community board. I considered him a friend. He sent me a lot of that blend and it is spectacular. When that site got taken down I lost touch with him. A mutual friend and I spent some time looking for BobB but he has simply vanished. It is sad. He was a very kind and generous man.

I got that old DMJ Rhodie from a box pass, and it has made the rounds in a couple more passes and always ended back with me, so now it will stay here. It's a great smoker, and comfortable, and I'm happy to keep it.
And that tobacco is a great blend for a wintry day. Or any day.
I hate that your friend vanished. It's a sad thing, to lose touch with people you'd like to reach out to. I have a few such folks myself.

watching the dogs go bonkers after a bath... We've always had small dogs, and you'd think you'd given them catnip for dogs or something...
