The Irish-Dane & jruegg Sunday Morning Chat Thread!

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

I used to feel that way about blogging until I kept meeting people (some I didn't even know) who were out there reading. We live in the now, now, now world of text messages, facebook, twitter, news flashes, etc., and many people don't take the time to comment. The thing is, there are alot of people reading you may never know. Look at the page views, not the comment numbers for a true picture.

Good. We're in a bit of a holding pattern right now but that's normal I guess. No plans really need to be made this far out. Alli is up in Ohio visiting some friends and asking one of her potential bridesmaids as we talk.

You’d be surprised. I’d suggest at least starting to look at reception halls now (assuming you’re doing a reception) as they tend to book up pretty fast. I have no idea how, but in an age where the average wedding costs $25,000 my wife and her mother were able to do it (feeding just under 100 people no less) for under $10,000.

Well, brother.... it’s 20 till 10:00am. We have Sunday school at 10 so I should probably go downstairs and visit with people before their classes. Meet and greet and such. I’ll be back up after 10:10am but I should probably be in prayer and study. This was a fun experiment and Hope to do it again soon. Until then, Grace and Peace to you in the name of our Risen Lord & Savior, Jesus the Christ.

Later.

We have no need for a hall, or even a church for that matter. We're getting married at a family friend's property which includes a bunch of acres, an awesome log cabin, a pond, and barns we're using for the food, etc. Zero cost all the way around at least for facilities.

Thread usurper.

Oops.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7 ESV

You trying to hose in on our chat?
It is just one of the plethora of ways in which to increase our post count and thereby increase our e-honor. Either that or I was just bored and noticed I-D was the only other person on the forum.

After we left breakfast, I realized we never got a picture of us. Now no one will ever believe it happened.
