There was a liberal on board. As you know, Lubbock is a liberal no-fly zone. No worries, everyone. The liberal was successfully tranquilized and relocated to a liberal preserve in Austin where she will live the rest of her days in peace while eating kale and muttering about how much Del and Cheney resemble each other.

Lots of places I'd much less rather be than Lubbock, unless I was stranded there with a whiny liberal...

With all its failings, there is no shortage of hot chicks in Lubbock. Intelligent chicks...well...lets just say there are some hotties about and leave it at that.

Last night some numbnut stole the spare tire, cover, and lugnuts off the back of the Jeep.

Police: Well, nothing you can do, really. Third time in a year that someone stole from your vehicle? Well, you could get a security camera so you can watch them steal stuff after the fact. Shoot them? Oh no...well not officially, you know (wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Know what I mean?).

I would never assume that there are Christians here. A Christian would fill the garage with spare tires and lugnuts.

You need to do the following:

Not so many years ago folks here would leave the keys in the car. The 16 yo's started going joy rides... but they returned car and keys.

ZZ Top’s Dusty Hill Dislocates Shoulder, Show Postponed
ZZ Top have been forced to postpone at least one show on their current tour following an injury to bassist Dusty Hill.

Hill apparently fell backstage prior to the band’s scheduled appearance in Lubbock, Texas, yesterday, dislocating his shoulder in the process. Lubbock station KFMX reports that an unidentified representative of the group or venue walked out onstage to inform the crowd of the postponement.

Or maybe he just absolutely, positively had to be there tomorrow.
