Greatest Hero of All Time! (Nominations)

Post by tuttle » Mon Mar 12, 2018 8:25 am

Now accepting your nominations for the Greatest Hero of All Time! (Time! Time! Time!)

Whether it be from literature or film or legend or cultural mythology, the world needs to know.**

You nominate your hero here and give a little reasoning why they should be considered the greatest of all time and at some point I'll put 'em into a poll and we'll vote!

** Two Things:
1) To preempt the juke; We all know Jesus is the ultimate greatest hero of all time.
2) Nominate as many heroes as you want, but please nominate ONE at a time. Don't nominate the X-Men. Nominate an X-Man.

I nominate Steve. In my house, when my little kids ask unanswerable questions, such as “who was the first man to plant a tree?” Or “who invented the burp?”, my answer is always Steve. Heck of a man, Steve.

He was the first man to eat an oyster. Steve.

Even though this is a Youth Room thread, I second with another nomination for a heroic Marine:

 yeah, I mean, I'll accept the kung fu dog. Heck, even Alexander the Great too. He certainly has legendary/mythological street cred.

Here's the criteria: From literature or film or legend or cultural mythology

If your nomination is outside of that, or on the fringe, then offer up an explanation. I'm easy to bribe.
