Not funny. I was ready to list my top ten, but no, you had to mock the most beautiful part of Christmas.

Heh. Just kidding.

Having suffered through a number of Hallmark Christmas movies, I can confidently state that the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies are significantly better quality (writing, acting, directing, filming, you name it) than the regular Hallmark Channel movies. Not good enough that I'm making plans to watch them, but if you have to sit through one, make sure it's a Hallmark Hall of Fame.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

I'd watch every single one of them if JimVH did the commentary track.

Oh, thank heaven. I was about to call in a favor and get an extraction team down to sweetandsour's place.

Close call.

There's Matchmaker Santa -- next showing:
Friday December 21 2:00 AM / 1:00c

If you add a little french snicker (muhahaha like Snidely Whiplash) when the Santa makes things happen it tends to have a little more sinister tone.

How can one have a favorite when the choices are all abysmal?
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.

There's more than one? Seems to me they keep playing the same story over and over but with different actors.

First Blood v. Apocalypse Now. How can you even think that; let alone type it? Dude. Are you ok?

Both excellent movies to enjoy at Christmas but seriously Apocalypse Now blows First Blood out of the water. Can we add a poll to this thread? Best Christmas movie- Apocalypse Now or First Blood. Only needs to be three options for the poll.

I also vote to abolish the 'capitalize the first letter of every word in a thread title' rule. Clearly 'Favorite Hallmark Christmas Movie' has a very different meaning than 'Favorite hallmark Christmas movie' as DL has clearly demonstrated.

Yes. Of course it counts.

Now.

Compare and contrast with Schindler's List.

Muppet Christmas Carol profoundly moved me. Schindler's List merely inured me to violence.
