For $300,000 you can have the Chairman of the Board's woody

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

Heh. I used to give mine away for free.
I am also of the opinion that the Jesuits should be suppressed.

In general, $300,000 isn't a lot of money in the world of collector cars. But Chrysler K cars pretty much define the crapola the Big 3 tried to peddle in the 80's that turned Americans towards Japanese vehicles. I wouldn't pay $3.00 for one.

But you’re forgetting their main advantage over other cars Fred ...

They’re so plain looking and nondescript they practically disappear on the road. Police don’t see them, and therefore you hardly ever get speeding tickets in them.

It was the Big Three’s first stab at a stealth vehicle, something Volvo had already perfected. I know. We inherited my mother-in-law’s gray, ‘87 Volvo.

It’s practically invisible. Here’s another photo of it on a recent trip:

I believe there was an article in Popular Mechanics that had instructions for turning a K car into a stealth airplane in your basement workshop.

I really thought this was going to be about the painting that Mike Rowe just sold to raise money for his foundation. It is titled "Chairman of the Board."

We've drooled over this Campbell Co bodied '49 Power Wagon before but it may have been before you got here Steve. Imagine picking up four or five wealthy sports in this thing at the train station in Durango and taking them on a five hour drive up to the lodge for a week of fishing. I'da done it for free!
