The: Who Left JimVH in Charge? Thread

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

I had a pony bottle of Budweiser, a half a Hershey's bar, and a bucket of popcorn every night in high school.

I'll bet shiner bock and m&m's are delightful.

So I turned the den into a makeshift man cave. I set-up a six foot folding table in front of the big screen to use as a work surface and started on a stack of projects that have been building-up. Over the weekend I finished two rifle builds, one of which I'm pretty excited about (the other was fun, but nothing fancy). I'll try and get a photo posted this evening. Project three starts tonight.

As I came down the stairs this morning and looked across the den I realized I'm turning into one of those old guys that the neighbors whisper about. It's probably a good thing I'm only alone until the end of the week.

As one of those old guys the neighbours whisper about . . . it is probably a good thing she is coming home.

I tried to share this thread with my wife. But her response was along these lines:

I deal with enough foolishness here in my own home.
Jim's wife will restore order when she returns.
Don't slow me down. I want my breakfast.

Im quite unconcerned about how JimVH fares while Mrs VH is gone.

In fact I don't even care if he's wearing pants.

I know many of you do care and I find that touching.

Hopefully he adds that to his attire before heading off for work.

Building a rifle without pants on is a perfectly natural and beautiful thing.
