Elon Musk suspects something strange is brewing with the current spate of COVID tests.

Seriously, it's a serious thing but giving us data that shifts due to methods of counting or testing throws out the majority of all decision making (with respect to new case counts). I've liked the new case counts since I'm not morbid in nature to trek after death counts--- in between lies the hospital bed counts and capacity (which is a mess because rules on hospitals during these months have shifted and tracking reasons "with covid" have muddied assessment up as well).
