Serious Question

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

Indeed. Seems like pet food to me. I prefer meat. Even if it is lips & eye-lids.

I have never eaten a corn dog.
I was an adult when I first tried one. My wife brought some home from somewhere and the kids were eating them with ketchup, so I tried one with mustard.

At the time I remembered my old childhood friend, Bert, eating a corn dog, dipping it in mayo, and I was thinking no way. So I tried one with mustard and it wasn't bad, but I've had very few since then. I like sausage on a stick though, like the ones at the fair, and the Renaissance Festival. And at Octoberfest.

We eat corn dogs a couple times a month. Mustard, never ketchup. Rita likes a little sweet relish with them when she’s feeling saucy.

Sometimes we eat them when we cry.

I've always wanted to eat them dipped in the blood of my enemies but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Be careful. Enemy blood is very high in sodium.

To me, corn dog is Fair food. The farther from the fairgrounds you take them, the less palatable they be.
But they are wonderful when hot. Of course everything deep fried and hot is wonderful :D

I agree. Corn dogs are Fair food and nutritionally I'd rate them as fairly fair Fair fare.

A very good friend of mine owned and ran a fire extinguisher and alarm business in the Houston area, and spoke once of a client that was a corn dog manufacturer, He told me all about the process, the different stages, etc., and also about the odor there. He also said that the lighter the color, the better the corn dog. The darker colored ones aren't necessarily due to being fried longer. I asked him if he'll eat a corn dog, and he said yes, if that's all he has, he'll eat a corn dog. But only if he has mustard.

I was sad because I had no corndog to eat, then I met a man who had never eaten a corndog.
