Pipeson rented DIE HARD (1988) and we watched it together for the first time.
Chair-gripping action all the way through. With some of funniest one-liners ever. And then we laughed together for a long time when it ended. Bruce Willis was brilliant.
They said "Merry Christmas" way more often than the cast of A Christmas Story. Just sayin'.

It’s ok, but it can’t hold a candle to A Christmas Carol (1984), starring George C. Scott.

That was Edward Woodward. Old-timers may remember him as the star of TV's The Equalizer.TNLawPiper wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 1:40 pmIt’s ok, but it can’t hold a candle to A Christmas Carol (1984), starring George C. Scott.

I agree but this may be the runner up.

I just finished up Get the Gringo with him. This film needs to go on my "next" list.Stanley76 wrote:I agree but this may be the runner up.

Rent a movie for 48 hours.... spend the first two hours watching it.
That leaves only 46 hours to watch it again.
Second time watching DIE HARD was just as fun as the first!
Then I introduced Pipeson to this cultural event:
