I just returned, with my wife, from attending an outdoor, back yard deep-pit pork shoulder luncheon, celebrating the graduation of Kiersty, the wife-to-be-girl friend of a grandson, from Fresno State U. Tables set up with sun shades, lemonaid and water, salad, fruits. Very nice. Wish I could post a photo. Met several new people, all friends and room mates of Kierstiana, and her family and relatives, plus our daughter, son-in-law, two great-grandmunchkins, Lane and Andie, at the home of our grand daughter and husband, just recently built.
We stopped at two stores searching for a stand to sit the new Samsung TV we bought when our old LG was fried when our surge protector did not surge enough. My back was hurting so bad from all the walking, I had to stop and lean upon a light pole or anything nearby. Came home and tanked up on fresh, cold water. New TV now rests on the floor. Deciding whether or not to hang it on the wall.
Wife is napping in her recliner 5 feet away and dog is snoring on the floor in front of me. I think I shall light the pipe and contemplate in this quietness, what it's like to be young. 5:17 Pac. time. Sat-(her down)-day 17 May.
Soli Deo Gloria!
