I maybe mistake but I belive the term is emoticon, in any case not as disturbing as cuticle.
Though back in topic; has anyone made homemade bacon.
Alton Brown seems to have a good recipe

Raynbogurl's emoticons are so darned cute, I call 'em 'cuticles.'
And why haven't any of us tough guys ever found emoticons of bacon before? RBG is the Mistress of Emoticons.

I had a co-worker at lunch yesterday introduce me to an intriguing sandwich possibility.
Egg salad sandwich with bacon.

I had some "Beef Bacon" yesterday. My friend's wife is determined to rid the family of all pork products. It was pretty good tasting!
Something about wretched, free radical hormones makes pork problematic to consume, even though cooked thoroughly. It sounds like a Bush-Cheney-Halliburton conspiracy to me...

I bet the Whataburgers and the Chevy Luminas are in on it, too.

I am assuming they eat only range-fed, non-hormone treated cattle?

I originally meant it for RBG but this works. Sorry Del.

I had this at Friendly's last night.
"Country Club Chicken Sandwich
The ultimate chicken lover’s sandwich. Crispy strips
of chicken with crisp bacon, melted Swiss cheese,
shredded lettuce, tomato and our zesty roasted
red pepper garlic sauce."
It was good.

We ordered Chinese food take-out.
Over 100 items on the menu, and NO BACON in any of them

No I didn't actually eat one of these, but it does look tasty. Maybe it comes from this book:
