Very nice, FredS.

I like the idea of the Holy Smokes PC. Annual meeting to be held at the Chicago Pipe Show.

Been a couple months since I've shared since I shared any of my junk. None are finished, but a few are close.

Also, here's a short clip of my two favorite makers working together. Gracik visited Grechukin's shop in Russia last year.

You all probably know about Gracik (J Alan Pipes), but if you've never seen Vladimir Grechukhin's work you've not seen what I think is the best in the world. Here's his portfolio at SmokingPipes.com.

Have you been able to spend much time in the shop lately or are Mexican beaches and the new job keeping you too busy?

Close. The -40 and getting up at 4:30 every day for the new job kept me out. Been a little tired and haven't quite trusted myself around spinning tools. But i do have 5 blocks waiting to be butchered by me Image

Beauties all, Fred!
Your personal style is evident in every one.

I love your "coral" rustication. Few finishes feel as wonderfully comfortable in the hand.

This block had some really dark, tight grain. I managed to cut both from the same stock.

I can't believe I've been on CPS for 5 years and I still don't have a FredS pipe.
