Tamper #4

Post by LushMojo » Tue Dec 23, 2008 4:47 pm

Cocobolo again. This time I capped it with a "white" wheat penny. These were wartime pennies that were made without copper. I believe it's zinc coated. This tamper is exceptionally comfortable to hold.

They just keep getting better and better.... You really should start selling those. I would hate to have to hunt you down, break in, hold you hostage and force you to make me one...

Just selling them would be some much simpler, do ya think?

Nice.

Though for some odd reason it is reminding me of the leg-shaped lamp from A Christmas Story.

Wish I could see it but, alas, I'm at work and some pictures don't show up. It'll have to wait until I get home. If it's anything like the others, I'm sure it's quite nice.

#4 Already!? Lush, you're a machine!

At this rate you will have made one for each of us CPS'ers before the year is out.

Nice work.

That's my favorite of the four. I like how the coin doesn't overlap the wood. It makes it look more like the coin is part of the whole.

No photos of the "dark side"? Looks good.

It's already been gifted to someone. The dark side is basically a dark red/black cocobolo grain.

I'm continually fascinated by the single posters on CPS and the idiocy of their one appearance. <redacted_emoji>

I'm late on this thread, but I think the coin is great.
