Pfft! I don't have money for lunch today. Of course it was silliness!

One of the points of the blog is that it's a workshop for a book that I'm writing, but the gazillions of dollars I'll make from that are probably down the road a ways.

Thanks for taking the time with it, Del. I really do appreciate that. And while I have no idea why you picked that post to start with, it's one of the ones I would have suggested.

P.S. - I do think I'll start referring to them as "essays" from here on out. Much more apt description, given their lack of brevity.
Well, once you upgrade to "novellas" or "long-form" I would strongly advise getting that book deal dialed in.

I picked it because I liked the title! (As we have already established, I am notorious for judging a book by its cover.)

God's mercy is an inexhaustible mystery. He wants to forgive us. He died to forgive us! We can't earn it or ever deserve it -- but we have to want it and we have to ask for it, in order to receive the gift that God wants to give us. And then we have to do the hard work of living out that gift of righteousness.

I am dying to delve into the problems you have in perceiving mercy v. justice. That's just a temptation which I must resist.

Yup, I am.

I've only read a few, but they do speak to me.

I'll continue to read . . .

I've got to say, kendrck. While I haven't read much yet. The titles do look interesting. 8)

You have a nice way of expressing yourself, Rick. A true gift.
