I read it and for the most part enjoyed it. It is very well written, as I expected no less, but it also causes me concern.

Well written as expected.
Folks should never ask of some people: "How are you?"
We might just answer.

Duly read, savored, mulled over and contemplated.

Read it. I laughed. I cried. I died a little. Inside. Good stuff.

Appreciated your words there, for a number of reasons, and am now following. But one big, big question comes of reading it: does An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe exist on video?

Re: Please read my blog
Morley, I read your blog and had to smile. My son Ross, now 43, was a theatre major in college, worked as house manager for our local legitimate theatre company, and after spending a year abroad in Nottingham, spent a summer doing rep' in Bemidji, MN; 10 shows in about 8 weeks. He came home and announced that he could not see himself doing that at 40 and was switching all his remaining electives to business courses. He now owns retail businesses of his own and manages a 3rd family business in the Caribbean. His best man at his wedding was a fellow theatre major who spent the first few years out of college scrounging jobs in NY before becoming a real-estate agent.

Re: Please read my blog
That's kinda what you expect out of most folks who have an interest in theater. All four of my kids love it, but none of them count on it for a living. Oldest Son makes his living as an analyst for sn insurer, Darling Daughter has ambitions of being a writer, and the younger two are still in school.CW Spook wrote:Morley, I read your blog and had to smile. So I was thinking, when I read Mr. Morley's post, "Shoot, he's earning a living in the business he loves? You'd think he'd be on Cloud 9!"
Most people on stage just ain't that good.
