I called the other day and my case was still pending. Read online that favorable decisions usually take longer (its been a little over 5 weeks). A friend went to Jerusalem and she put my prayer request in the wailing wall.
Haven't forgotten, Fainn. Continued prayers.

I know! I called today and they said no decision has been made. A few websites said the longer the wait, the better your chances.

I called the Office of Disability Adjucation Review and they said it was just now with the decision writer. Then it has to be sent to the judge who will sign it before sending it to me.

Lets hope there isn't much writing accept for "approved."

It'll be 9 weeks tomorrow. This is absolutely killing me. I hear voices yet the vocational expert said there were still some jobs I could do. I think if I get a denial, that will be the final nail on the coffin of my faith.

Do you have family members or friends who can testify on your behalf regarding your symptoms?

I was actually approved for disability recently, I've been diagnosed with asperger's syndrome (which is related to high-functioning autism and obsessive-compulsive behaviors) and "overworked" myself to the point of mental fatigue (this includes work at my day job as well as freelance research which I've been hoping to find a way to publish).

I had relatives who were kind enough to help me find a lawyer and testify, which I think helped me significantly.

Still praying for you and your family.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Praying that God's will be done. Keep the faith. Continue to trust in God's will for you no matter what.

The longer you must wait, the larger the check will be.

Is your faith really that tenuous, Fainn? Whether Christ is Lord and our redeemer from sin is not at all related to whether the government grants a paycheck to you. There have been a great many believers suffering from lifelong poverty throughout the millennia.

I'll pray for your disability decision, your mental health, and your faith, as well.

No news is good news, sort of, actually.

I have no idea what I'm talking about so please forgive me, and please don't explain it to me; but it seems sort of odd to be applying for various jobs while waiting on a disability decision. Again, please forgive me, I'm just making a simple observation. Continued prayers your way.

I know, but we're always broke. Otherwise, I'd wait for the decision to come in. I had a nervous breakdown at my last two jobs after only last a few weeks at each.
