Rita and Aunt Susie

Post by JimVH » Thu Oct 05, 2017 8:25 am

Rita's been in and out of town the last week or so taking care of her aunt. The doctor just told everyone it's time for hospice. I'd appreciate your prayers for Susie and her kids, grandkids, etc.

It'd be great if you could mention Rita, too. She and her Aunt Susie have been thick as thieves Rita's whole life and it's really weighing on her. It's also a tough time of the year for her, marking the loss of her dad and brother. She's tough, but I can tell she's pretty blue right now. Today is also her birthday. I just hate seeing someone unhappy on their birthday.

Thanks, y'all.

Praying ror your wife Jim, and all family involved. My father ended up in hospice in April. Those hospice folk are doing God's work and they have my total respect and praise.

Amen that.

Hospice is guessing we have a week or two. She is so much more at peace now that the decision is made and in place... it's humbling.

Peace, Comfort, Strength, and Grace in all the right places. A tough time to be in - but a necessary one that we all have to embrace at points in our lives.
