For "The Ranch"

Post by Gabriel » Fri Feb 23, 2018 1:05 pm

I obviously can't be very specific on a public forum, but I would greatly appreciate prayers for our students and staff. We have been going through several weeks with quite a few students in crisis and it is physically, emotionally, and spiritually wearying. Pray for these boys and their families, they need the Gospel badly.

Thanks all, again. I'd love to tell you all specific situations, but that's obviously a no no on a public forum. I appreciate all your prayers. Some hard decisions were made and some hard conversations/phone calls have been had.

For today, things things are a bit more relaxed. Continuing to pray that God works in these young men's lives even when it appears we are failing to do so.

Prayers for the Ranch are always appreciated.

You know what I love more than seeing kids fishing? Nothing. Not one damn thing.

But seeing young men making stuff from metal and wood is my second favorite thing. For many young men ( :wavey: this is me, raising my hand over here in the corner) it's restorative. Five of the most influential men in my life (dad, grandpa B, and three shop teachers) reached me the most when they stood next to me hunched over a lathe or table saw.

Knowing that we can't save every one, but we can try, I'm praying for the Ranch.
