Traveling

Post by Jared » Fri May 04, 2018 12:07 pm

Asking for little prayers as the wife and i are leaving out sunday morning for our 10th anniversary trip to galveston. Pray more for me as this is the furthest i've ever driven (it's about a 5 hour drive) and i'm nervous. Thanks.

Prayed yall got away ok this morning, just your wife and you, and that it'll be a good trip.

My wife and I were in Galveston just this past Wed and Thurs, btw. Landry's Seafood House is excellent, as is the Sunflower Cafe and Mosquito Cafe (despite the name). You guys are younger so you may enjoy the Strand area. Be careful if you get in the water. And hopefully you brought a rod and reel. Oh and for a nice ride across the bay, park your car and ride the Bolivar Ferry back and forth. It's free.
