My son & his climbing buddy Daniel

are climbing Mathes Crest Traverse and Unicorn Mountain today. They left at 0 dark 30. This will be his hardest climb yet. All the pitches are well over 5

Ooh, that looks like fun! I used to be a climber, till I moved away from all convenient climbing areas and found my dad bod.

Looks like he’s probably Trad Climbing, I only ever trade climbed up to about 5.6, but I sport climbed a few 5.10c back in the day. What I would give to be climbing again... I miss those days.
