Praying for all those mentioned.

The person that's been quarantined in our area died yesterday. Good guy, good family. My wife and I taught him in Sunday School when he was a kid.

City of Beaumont now has stay at home orders. The mayor was quoted as saying "don't even think about having quarantine parties".
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)

I'm sorry, man. This is going to be rough.

Prayers for you all.

Shocking how quickly a microscopic entity can bring the entire world to it's knees.

I’m from that area. I grew up in Silsbee and my sister lives in Sour Lake.
She told about the band director who passed. A great gent by all accounts.

Headline from the LA Times :

No running water. No electricity. On Navajo Nation, coronavirus creates worry and confusion as cases surge

I’ll be teleconferencing with my students starting Tuesday morning. My classes include a large number of Navajo kids who went home two weeks ago. Some of them live in or near the small town mentioned in this article (Cameron). Some live in remote mobile homes and hogans but they have to go onto towns like Cameron and Yuba City, or Farmington (which is now a New Mexico outbreak epicenter) for food and supplies.

I’ll find out for the first time how some of them are doing Tuesday morning. A few don’t have internet access so I may not know about them for a while.

I’m very worried about them.

Same. We would never know about that if it wasn't for you. Thanks for telling us.

Joe Diffie, the country music artist, has died.

John Prine, a remarkable singer-songwriter, has been intubated and is in critical condition.

Please pray for them and their families.

This, gentlemen, is what it feels like when doves cry.

But it is easier for a Lifted Ford to pass under the beam of a parking garage than it is for a Dodge Ram driver to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Continued prayers for all of these.

Our daughter works in NY upstate in an assisted living complex. Several there have tested positive. Prayers for them and for her.
